    Why can’t a place be added?

    Argh!!!!
    All I get is can’t recognise address or the above

    I don’t want to use google maps and the opens tree just reverts to USA instead of UK and won’t allow editing address to suit as it says it has to be within a city that was originally set?

    Hello,

    you can adjust your default location in the settings:

    GD – Settings – General – Default Location

    Then when you edit a listing type in the address within the area of that default location.

    Once you have set the maps API to open street maps revisit the default location and make sure you are seeing data from open street maps there.

    To add listings outside of the default location you will need the location manager addon

    Ok, so basically it isn’t going to work out of the box?
    Set everything up as far as I can see but cannot add a listing as the mapping won’t allow it.

    I’ve tried many locations (worcestershire, London, just Uk etc..) but it won’t allow me to add any places?
    Plus if you try to change in the map it either just reverts to center of map or the original location set.

    Ok, Can you do us a favour then and one walk us through that process please?

    Two edit he afc bournemouth one and see if you can get it to the actual ground all I could get was it keep reverting to London when I set default as London.

    Correct address is:
    Vitality Stadium at Dean Court, Bournemouth BH7 7AF

    To set the default location visit the settings and type in the region and city name then click set on map.

    The free plugin is for a single city directory.

    Another question on this plugin then, does it only work with google maps as I’m not paying for their fees to load maps.
