    You can switch your map provider to OpenStreetMap to cut off the paid services from Google.

    When I gou under GD – Settings – General –
    I can’t find Default Location

    Once you have location manager installed, you can find it in

    GD – Settings – Location (tab) – Cities (subtab)

    Then set the default location to the city you prefer.
