    Hello Developers,

    Website: http://www.holidaymonk.com

    1. I have trouble with my GD search bar where when we select from the list it redirects to that particular post. i.e when I select Attractions in list it redirects to attractions page. It wont allow me to write in text fields. Please help me in adding customize my search.

    2. Add events link not working. http://www.holidaymonk.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event. It redirects to homepage.

    3. Wont show up Location Switcher in Main menu being enabled in settings.

    My requests for future development:

    1. Please add option to select range of date in add events where it should create only one event page.

    2. GD framework theme – More flexible layouts and more mobile friendly.

    3. All in one package i.e all addons in one. All us to enable/disable features (Eg: All in one SEO plugin)

    4. Usage of thumbnail in listings. Currently it loads full image in listing places.

    5. Reduce http requests.

    Hello,

1- that’s the normal behavior, you will see the default post type, when switching it goes to that post type, and from there you can search.
To set the Advanced search, e.g. for Attraction, go to the Attractions post type (here http://www.holidaymonk.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=gd_attraction_fields_settings&subtab=custom_fields&listing_type=gd_attraction ) and set your desired fields in the Advances search tab. You can also create custom fields and then add it from there.

2- Events was disabled from the frontend adding, I’ve enabled for you (gd settings, Design, Navigation tab).

3- The menu was not linked with GD, i’ve enabled in gd settings, Design, Navigation tab.

A new GD BETA is being tested and will includes new features, such as GD BOOSTER that will increase the performances, including the reduction of http requests. More info here https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/all-beta-versions-advanced-users-only

    Hello Simone,

Thank you for quick help. As just opted for premium addons still need to learn all options.

Regarding Search Bar: http://wpgeo.directory/ here in demo site when we select post type it wont redirect to that particular post but happens in http://www.holidaymonk.com

GD Booster: Can we use W3 total cache along with GD booster plugin. Bcoz it has some similar features.

    I noticed one more issue…

For example in search bar type “homestay” and next type “Sakleshpur” click search,
in the result page sorting won’t work.

Hi, the demo site is using a beta of GD (it will be available soon as an update).
I dont recommend w3 total cache, but I will only stick with GD Booster.

About the Sort by price, it’s really strange, tried also to set a desc/asc sorting and it isn’t working.
    I will notify Paolo.

    Hi,

This seem to be working to me: http://www.holidaymonk.com/places/?sort_by=geodir_price_desc

The problem is that you are using the ascending sort.
