    Dear Supporters,

after updating plugins – for example envato wordpress tookits ore any else – also the used wp-theme kleo – the navigation structure changes in frontend automatically. To better see what i mean, i will send you two pictures, one before and one after. Also i send you pictures of the wp-permalinkstructure and the gd-permalinkstructure. I’ve controlled both settings after updating plugins and the theme, the wp and gd settings are still the same. but the breadcrump changed like on the picture. So you may help me in this case. Maybe there is a simple solution i didn’t found until yet.

    Best wishes

    Hi Guust,

thanks for the fast reply, i always go back to the last backup because of the issue. Now i updated the theme so you can take a look of the change. This is actually the breadcrump for the same location you looked before:

Really looks like the GD permalinks have been changed.
Please post WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.
    Thanks

I cannot find the error. I suggest you de-activate non-GD plugins to see if one of them is the problem.
    Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/
I’ll alert the developers too, in case they spot the problem.

    Hi Guust,

however it happens i found the mistake: while updating theme ore plugins the gd translation automatically jumps from “places” to “orte”. So i replaced the german translation back to “places” and now it looks, everything works fine again.

    Best regards

Until now i normally use loco translate.

That is most likely the reason: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#loco

If you use the PoEdit method, language changes will not be overwritten if the language file is put in the correct folder /wp-content/languages/plugins

    Thanks

In future – if necessary – i will work with PoEdit. I’m happy, found the issue.

    Best wishes
