Remove amount per category

Hi we are using your plugin for a care provider association which lists different categories of care homes. we need to remove the bit that says how many addresses are in each category.
for example one of the categories is Residential care homes.
on the website it says Residential Care Homes (69)
we need to remove the bit that says 69.
is this possible and how do we do it please.
