Restricting Field Views for Logged In Members Only

    Hi! Is there a way to restrict which fields the public can see vs. what a logged in Member can see?

    For example, we would like to give our members some added benefits for joining our community.

    Thank you!

    P.S. If this isn’t available out of the box, would it be a fairly easy thing to customize for one of your GeoDirectory Experts?

    That is not a built in feature, no. GD will hide fields from your listing owners based on price packages. Most advanced builders have settings to do that.

    Thanks Alex. Do you mean that most advanced builders have settings to hide fields from logged in users or were you talking about the pricing packages?

    Is this an easy thing for one of your GEO experts to do? For example, I saw that you and Guust are sometimes available for custom work.

    We usually recommend widget logic, a very small and simple plugin. You can add it to your site and then every widget will have a little box where you can add a small code that will make the widget hidden for logged out users.

    If you used it to hide GD Output Location widget from logged in users that might accomplish your goal.
