Search is not working

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Search for countries is not working in a normal search but it is working in the advanced search. Please assist.
    The country France is on the location list but can not be found at a normal search.

    I am not sure what you mean with the “normal” search. Do you mean the WP search or the “Zoeken” part of the GD search.

    The WP search or the “Zoeken” part of the GD search only search the description, title, tags and categories of a listing.

    Hi Guust,

    I mean the search on location within GD.
    Otherwise, you could try it by searching on e.g. France/Frankrijk but it’s a membeship on http://www.globaldutchies.nl

    We had the exact same thing before but the strange thing is that the new advanced searching is working.

    A search for “France” will show listings within the GD Search radius from the center of France.
    To adjust that, change the Search distance in
    GD – Setting – General (tab) – Search (subtab) – Search near radius

    You could try this link which is different, showing listings IN France

    I suggest you add the “Change Location” Switcher too in the menu.
    Like Alex says, translate the slug “france” to “frankrijk”, and the name of the country too.
    I am guessing France was added before the map language was changed.

    Thanks Alex and Guust,
    I changed the radius and it is working perfectly.

    A few docs have already been translated to Dutch.
    I will see if I can manange uploading them 😉
