Hi there! I have moved from GDV1 to GDV2 with supreme directory theme.
When I transformed to GDV2 the field SEARCH LIST and SHOW MAP on mobile side tranlsation was lost.
Checked on the file and seems to be translated correctly but does not show it.
    Can you please give advice?
    many thanks.

Make sure you update your language files as explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/

    Thanks

    HI!
I have done everything, but the strings seems to be in the it_IT file.
I have translated it and put it into the directory but nothing to do.
    Could you give advice please?
    Many thanks.

You should have these files in the directory as shown:

    /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.po
    /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.mo

    /wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.po
    /wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.mo

    Then update those files from
    /wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/languages/en_US.po
    and
    /wp-content/themes/directory-starter/languages/en_US.po
    as explained at
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/

    Thanks

tks but the guide only explains how to rename the geodirectory-en_US.
How do I have to rename the files
    /wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/languages/en_US.po
    and
    /wp-content/themes/directory-starter/languages/en_US.po
    as explained at

and where do I have to upload them?
    Thanks.

You should not just rename them, but update the ones you have, if you already used them in V1. The process is explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/

This is how they should be named and located [see earlier post too]:

    /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.po
    /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.mo

    /wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.po
    /wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.mo

If you post your URL and WP admin details and FTP details in a private reply, we can check it out.

I have updated the files as explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
I placed the old files in /wp-content/languages/themes/guust as a backup.

    Thanks
