Search Results Completely Wrong

    My search results are really awful. I can look up Plumbers and Plumbing and come up with everything except a plumber. The results don’t mention plumbing at all. Is there a setting or someway to fix this?

    Can you provide more info please:
    * URL of a listing you expect in the search results
    * URL of a page with the GD search widget
    Add WP admin details too in a private reply if you want us to review your settings.

    Hi,

    Yes, you get 4 pages of results but they aren’t plumbers. They don’t have any keywords that even match that search.

    There are some plumbers for me.
    If you search for “Plumbers and Plumbing”, your results will include all listings that have “Plumbers” or “and” or “Plumbing” in the title, description, category or tags.

    If you do not want results to be returned for listings with “and”, review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#individual

    Great, I will read the post about “and”

    The other issue is when you start typing “Plumbers and Plumbing” and the title pops up. If you click on it, it doesn’t fill in the rest and go there. It doesn’t do anything. I think it should complete the search parameter when you click on the suggestion. Is it a setting or something to fix?

    That is just your browser remembering I think, because you do not have a listing with that name
    What you want is https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#search which you already have set up.
