Setting a city location for Northamptonshire changes to East Midlands?

    Hi,

    I’m attempting to set a city location of Northamptonshire so surrounding areas of Northampton in UK are included, however, when doing so it changes to East Midlands which is not what I want.

    Even more so as when it does change, all the search pages and results show “results in East Midlands”.

    How can I get around this?

    Northamptonshire is not a city but a region.
    Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location

    If you set Northampton > Northamptonshire > United Kingdom as the default city, you will automatically have a Location page for Northamptonshire where all listings for that region will be shown.
    SO if someone adds a listing in Kettering, it will show on the Northamptonshire page, the Kettering page and the United Kingdom page.
