    1. Doesn’t matter what I put for post_number. Results are always 5 listings.
Ideally I want to have this as a sidebar or in-content widget that can be used throughout the site. (Not an issue when I use the GD Listings Widget).

    2. Style issues. I’d like to have Listings appear as only an Image, Title.
No ratings/stars/reviews. No favorites, hours, summary. No read more links.
Is that possible? Where would I go to edit this style?

    Theme: Astra, with Elementor Plugin.

This may be a workaround if I am able to use the widgets.
The main issue is mostly the ability to edit the listings to hide ratings/stars/reviews. No favorites, hours, summary. No read more links.

As an alternate for the “read more” text, I’d rather do something like:
Title/Image/Summary text (25 characters), read more (links to detail page).

The default appears to open ALL text for the listing summary. This is a problem for any listing that has a decent amount of text. Also, for listings that have VERY large amounts of text.

    Hi quentcasperson,

Thanks for your post. Let me try to answer your questions accordingly.

    1. We need to check your Website backend to investigate this. Could you provide your Website WP admin access here in private reply?

    2. Refer to https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-disable-reviews/ and https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-disable-favorites/

    Hello

Shortcodes – to adjust shortcode values use the shortcode builder or if that isn’t available then use widgets. Make sure to open the advanced settings if you want to use all the options. See also: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/

Archive Items – The mini listings are Archive items. You can edit what appears in them by editing the archive item template.

Post_content – To adjust the height of the visible description content now with CSS see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#post_content

We are working on a new block with additional options for the read more link, to be released in an upcoming version.
