    Hi,

I need a little bit of advice on shortcodes.

On my location pages I am using the following shortcodes in order for all listings for the location to be listed:-
    – gd_listings
    – gd_event_listing
    – gd_popular_post_view (for each other CPT)

The gd_listings is great because it’s paginated, but can only used once as it’s not possible to use it several times on a page. So, I’ve had to use the other shortcodes I don’t know how to paginate them.

So, I would be grateful if you could advise what I need to add to the shortcodes in order to paginate gd_event_listing and gd_popular_post.

I was also hoping to add a bit of additional generic text in a text widget but wanted to add the location name in it (this is in addition to the location description). I’ve tried adding %location% in but to no avail – would be grateful if you could advise how this could be achieved.

Finally, the %location% doesn’t seem to work in the shortcode title either.

I am guessing you are not talking about the GD Location/Home page because then you would normally use widgets and not shortcodes and %%location%% should work.

%%location%% cannot work on non-GD pages because normal WP pages are not location related.

The popular post widget or shortcode cannot be paginated.

Let me know how you go.
