show events on calendar and map

    My events are not showing on the calendar or the map.

    Are they supposed to show on the calendar itself? I can click on some dates and some events show for that date but can it somehow show on the main calendar?

    are they supposed to show on the map? I found this on linking events to places.

    but that looks like the event has to have a business listing in places and I don’t want that.

    Is there anyway to just have events show on the map?

    Maybe with the new versions or something?
