    Hi,

I’ve just changed my URL’s to exclude country as we are only operating in the one country, I also included categories in my url’s.

I go to GD permalinks and save, then clear my GD booster and then settings – permalinks – save.

Nothing changes in my sitemap? I’ve always had this problem and i think guust must of saved my url’s about 4 times now, am I missing something because I do the same every time and it never seems to work (getting annoying now)

Also I have a category with the slug ‘cottages’ but it always saves the URL as ‘cottages-1’, that happens on a few so i’ve had to change my slugs to avoid this.

Any idea why that happens also as i’ve checked all the pages I can find and can’t see them used in other places.

    Thanks.

Strange, I log on with my mobile and try, it works!

Any idea what might be stopping it from working on my ‘3’ laptops?

The issue with the -1 still happens though.

Make sure you do not allow listings in other countries, your settings should be
GD > Multilocations > Country > Enable default country (country drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher).

I guess turning of sitemap and back on recreates the sitemap, but you can ask Yoast about how to reset the sitemap.

There has to be a tag or category etc that has cottages as a slug, it may even be deleted but not permanently deleted. You will need to check your database, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/why-do-my-locations-get-a-1-at-the-end/

    Thanks

Do I search all fields on the better search replace or just a certain one?

    Thanks.
