Social importer error

    When I give token refresh does not refresh the token just open a new tab with the same page.

    Hi,

    if you installed properly, there shouldn’t be any need to refresh the token ever.

    After adding your token and secret key, it asks you to connect your account to the app. Once that is done, the token should be refreshed automatically. Did you complete that step?

    if, but when I give myself to take the token get the following error in facebook

    Invalid Scopes: create_event, status_update. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

    Hi,

    please try unlinking the app as described here : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/social-importer-addon/#setup

    IMPORTANT: Facebook recently changed the way it’s apps request permissions. (if this is your first time installing the addon please skip to step #1, it only affects older installs). If posting to facebook no longer works for you you might have to unauthorise the app and then reauthorise it, in facebook got to Settings>Apps find your app and click “remove”, then go back to your wp-admin area and click “refresh access token” this should fix it.

    We can’t do it for you unless we would have your facebook credentials.

    Hi,

    Did you changed your default email adress in facebook after creating the app? I had the same problem and message. I lost my rights by doing this because of the first log in details when I´ve set up the App. maybe this will help you
