January 26, 2017 at 9:27 am #349683Hello, I’m sorry, I create a new topic, because I can’t have access to the first I published…I don’t know why. So I translated the template and plugins geodirectory, and it works, but not every where. There are some words left in english, even if I translated it in the po file. I use loco translate plugin, and after the first post I checked the name of folders…and everything is good. I checked this topic : https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/translation-problem-4/ If you want you can see the problem on this page : http://trouverunosteoengyneco.fr/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place Thanks January 26, 2017 at 11:19 am #349713Hi pauline, Could you try using this method for the translation and see if it works better? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/ . If that doesn’t work, please share WP temp admin access to your Website and tell us which texts are not translating for you. Thanks! January 26, 2017 at 1:11 pm #349779We will need FTP too. Thanks. (You can upload unlimited images with this package)I cannot get the FTP to work so I was not able to check anything. January 26, 2017 at 2:15 pm #349815Yes, I know that this things are not translated, but I can’t find where I can do this.
When I go to the template, I can’t find these sentences and I the plugin neither. Also, I translated the word “City” in the plugin Geodirectory, and “You can upload unlimited images with this package” too, but nothing is happening… For the FTP I don’t why you can’t connect, there is no mistake with id… January 26, 2017 at 10:06 pm #350042Hi, I could connect to your FTP and verify your translation file. It is not up to date (or even corrupted), because a lot of strings are missing. 1535 strings in your file vs 1953 in the current file. Please download the latest po file from here: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/master/geodirectory-languages/geodirectory-en_US.po (right click on raw and save link as…) Follow this doc to update your po file without losing translations: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/ Thanks January 27, 2017 at 10:27 am #350381Hi, Thanks for you’re answer.
I did this, and some strings missing have appeared. I translated them, but nothing happens on the web site. It’s still the same…January 27, 2017 at 12:22 pm #350410You do not have a Location Manager or Payment Manager in the correct directory.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/If you still have any missing strings after that, let us know. January 27, 2017 at 1:19 pm #350483I make the changes but it’s still the same. I also deleted loco translate plugin to be sure, but nothing. January 27, 2017 at 10:56 pm #350827This document
 https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
explains that the Location Manager file should be called
 geodirlocation-fr_FR.mo
 not
geodir_location_manager-fr_FR.moI renamed it for you, but it was empty, because it was created with Loco Translate.
So I created it the correct way as explained in our documentation.
I translated City in that file, and you can see that on
http://trouverunosteoengyneco.fr/sinscrire/?listing_type=gd_placeI also fixed the error in your core PO file.
If there is one or more %s in a string, they MUST be in the translation too or it will break other translations.January 31, 2017 at 8:23 am #352342Ok, it’s seems to wok now, yhank you very much.
Also, I have to compile the mo files each time I make changes, to see them…I haven’t understand…sorryNow I would changed the word “place” but I don’t understand where I can do this. For exemple, I would like to change “Titre place” by “Titre du lieu” and “Description du lieu”. I already changed the word place or places, but it stay like that. January 31, 2017 at 12:27 pm #352481Every time you make a change to the PO file, the MO file will automatically update.
Make sure to upload the updated MO file every time.To change Place Title, change “%s Title” to “Titre du %s”,
see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/can-i-change-place-title-and-place-description/Thanks January 31, 2017 at 3:52 pm #352615Yes, I did that, but, I want to change the word “Place” and it doesn’t work.
 I changed the “Place” translation everywhere I think…January 31, 2017 at 10:00 pm #352844Sorry, I misunderstood.
That is a bug that is fixed in the upcoming version, I’ll get Kiran to fix it on your site already.
