April 21, 2020 at 12:42 am #541494How do I set up the location pages to show the title of listings alphabetically by default and not the Date that it was created?
Also can I sort by ‘Featured’ 1st and then title?April 21, 2020 at 3:11 am #541508You can use the sorting options that you set up for the CPT https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/ You can choose the options you have setup INSIDE the GD Listings shortcode. You will need to open up the shortcode builder to be able to select them. You can sort by featured, then title, but, that will create two blocks, feature and non-featured, then sort each of those by title separately. Use a subsort to do that, as described on the link above https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/location/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/gd-listings/April 22, 2020 at 2:21 am #541729O.K. I have worked out how to do this sorting on the Search pages for the various Post Types that I have created.
But how do I do it on the main ‘Location Page’ please?April 22, 2020 at 7:38 am #541762You can choose the options you have setup INSIDE the GD Listings shortcode. You will need to open up the shortcode builder to be able to select them. On the Location page you should add 1 GD Listings for each post type, and select your special sort when you create the shortcode/block. April 23, 2020 at 12:58 am #541950Sorry but have lost me here.
Where do I find the shortcode builder? How do I create the shortcodes for this? Can you give me an example of the shortcode for sorting
 1 Featured alphabetically
2 Remainder to sort alphabeticallyI don’t know how to create the shortcodes. But I assume that I would then post them onto the appropriate Location page? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/The sorting options need to be set up on your site, then the shortcode created on your site to reference the sort on your site. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/ There is only one add-listing page. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/add-listing/ Add links to the appropriate form like this: April 23, 2020 at 3:57 am #541993This reply has been marked as private.April 23, 2020 at 4:02 am #541998This reply has been marked as private.April 23, 2020 at 8:34 am #542037Yes April 23, 2020 at 9:05 pm #542202This reply has been marked as private.April 24, 2020 at 8:49 pm #542385Please check now April 25, 2020 at 3:11 am #542457This reply has been marked as private.April 25, 2020 at 11:47 pm #542578This reply has been marked as private.April 26, 2020 at 12:22 am #542587You will need custom CSS to change that. Some examples to get you started can be found here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/supreme/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/You can also use a different page template and create that section yourself in order to create badges that have the colors you want.
