    Hi Paolo,

Its been my experience that search for keyword with city, state or zip will always return the index page due to keyword density. It most cases the details page never gets even close.

Go to google for the US and type in “dallas self storage”. You will notice that every and all listings on the first page are index pages.

    publicstorage.com
    sparefoot.com
    selfstorage.com
    findstoragefast.com
    extraspace.com
    usselfstorage.com
    cubesmart.com

If you could ever have the option to sort by “feature, then state, then city and then zip” its would cause it to rank even better.

I wanna thank you very much for getting back to me and having the city sort added. I believe it will be a great benefit.

As always, keep up the good work!

    Best Regards

In my experience instead, for local keywords such as “New York Places” for example, Google will index this:

    https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places/united-states/new-york/new-york/

    Over this:

    https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places

    100% of times…

P.s. None of those home pages are indexes sorted by city…

    Hi

I misread what you were saying. I thought you were talking about the “places detail pages” versus the “places” index compared the main index being returned. I totally agree with that.

The homepages I listed was the main page of the URLs in the image from the search results (that I forgot to add, but then attached). If you visit those, you will see what I mean.

Thanks for the feedback and clarification.

    Best Regards
