I am trying to update to version 2. I have installed WPEasyUpdates plugin. I have all the relevant license keys input and accepted. I have clicked to upgrade and have the attached (scary) screen saying don’t proceed without updating.

I use advanced search, custom posts and location manager (but can’t see how I would update them.

I don’t use the other two listed add ons on the screen shot (Review Ratings and Lists – I think I deleted them but they are maybe somewhere still in my system so show up even though they can’t be found).

Anyhow I need to update but am to scared to update without updating the add ons that I use (advanced search, custom posts and location manager) but HOW DO I UPDATE THESE?

Also if I can update these add ons what do I then just proceed with the over all update?

    Thanks in advance

    Rachel

If you are in a hurry, add them via FTP.

You can also use Easy theme and plugin updates as described here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/installing-addons/#manual

If you would like us to take a look at the updates issue, please share WP Admin in a private reply with a login url.

    Thanks

Hi Alex, thanks I’ve followed your suggestions and think I have installed it ok. The question now is when I go to the Geodirectory dashboard it says “run setup” wizard. I think I do need to do this as currently I can’t see how I add the listings/modify the search parameters etc that i used to do through the dashboard/interface.

Can you confirm that I should now run set up wizard? I’m just super worried that I’m going to overwrite all my existing hard work….

    Thanks

Yes, and see these instructions here for the upgrade:
