I have upgraded to V2 and am trying to adjust my detail pages. I have a “no-sidebar” page template option with my theme and when I have that selected, I still am seeing the sidebar underneath the GD content. I have even tried to force the template in the Geodirectory settings. Any ideas?

When I look at the page code, I see the “has-sidebar” and “content-right-sidebar” listed under the body class. Just not sure how to get rid of that. Thanks!!!

I am unable to view the site because of Cloudflare.
Maybe try turning off site cache while you work on the templates, and clear browser cache too.
If you tun that off so we can take a look, and the problem persist, include WP Admin credentials in a private reply and we will take a look at that template. Do include a link to the template edit page, too.

Hi Alex, thank you for letting me know of a cloudflare issue. I didn’t see that on my end. Is there an error code/message so I can troubleshoot? I did go into cloudflare and turn on developer mode so it is currently bypassing cache.

I have purged the cloudflare cache, and temporarily disabled it. I was also in contact with our host and they cannot replicate the issue, they say the site pulls up fine. I’m sure you have cleared cache and cookies?

OK. To be clear you have adjusted options on the detail page template and tried to turn off the sidebar there?

Yes, I do want that info sidebar in there, the one that shouldn’t be there is the one from the “blog page template” that is to the right and behind the map.

I moved the main sidebar widgets into the page sidebar as a temporary fix.

We can take a look into this but I also recommend you contact your theme’s author to ask them about why the main sidebar shows even if it is not set.

For us to take a look, please share all your connection info again including FTP and then send a copy of the theme using these instructions: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/support/#sharing
