    we are having the same issue on one of our installs, the google maps java is not loading.. completely clean installs with just geodirectory running.. we have another site on the same server running fine, all settings are the same and we are a little stuck for ideas on how to resolve this issue.

    Thank you, but we have found a remedy, we have set it to not look at Google API first and that has resolved it for us for the moment.

    I’m glad to see the developer is working on this 🙂 Really want to test this plugin before a get something else.

    Hi All

    We got it working by going to:

    GeoDirectory > Design > Maps and setting: Select Maps API to “Load OpenStreetMap API”

    Hi,

    yes using OSM is an option too.

    We just realized Google stopped serving keyless requests made to the Google Maps API. They said starting from the 22, but probably they only started enforcing this today. We were not aware of it and they only released this, which we discovered today:

    Stiofan is adding a field to add a Google Map API key. It should be released in the next hour or so.

    That will solve it and enable the Google Maps API to work again.

    Please be sure you have your site url entered correctly in the Google API settings, it should be something like *.YOUR_SITE.com/* if you don’t have the *’s it wont work.

    I sure did. I can only get a map with the Open Street Map setting. But, using this it will not accept my places’ locations. These addresses are verified in google maps and work there.
