transfering places to a new site

    Yepp, just the zop file, and inside should be just the CSV. Can you try that?

    Hello,

    The file you attached contains errors.

    To export from one site (source site) and import to another (target site) you will need to do the following.

    Source site

    Export listings (source CSV)

    Target site

    Add all custom fields to match
    Add test listing, complete all fields
    Export listings, download CSV (target CSV)

    Desktop

    Open source CSV and paste the data into the target CSV
    Be careful to leave the first 2 rows, with your column headers and example entry for the target CSV
    Rearrange Source CSV data to match the header format of the Target CSV

    Target Site

    Test and import with 1 listing
    Check the import with 1 listing to make sure it works.

    The sheet column headers must match, so, edit the CSV files and move the columns around until the match.

    Thank you again fpr your help.I copied and pasted and imported with some errors a little adding of missing conten and the import completed with no error messages. How ever the imported content content does not show on the place post. I have attached an image of the post along with an image of the csv file relating to the post. Any ideas.

    If you are importing new listings then you must remove the value from each row for the post ID column. Try that and let us know.

    Once again thank you for all your help A few things needed editing and are working OK now, but I still have a problem. Address and postcode have transfered and are showing in the edit page ( See attached. but the address is nor showing on the place page ( See attached)

    Can you help.
