October 1, 2015 at 9:40 pm #55440I have fully translated the core and all plugins to german. I allready logged in to transifex. But there is no possibility to upload the translations as complete file. And I honestly don´t have the time to fill out all the fields again.
What are your plans with the translation. Will you offer them for free or sell them when completed?
October 2, 2015 at 2:37 pm #55479Hi Fabian,
translation will all be offered for free.
We are trying to build our own little “trasnsifex” inside this website to make things easier, especially for add-ons.
Please add your translation files in a zip file and attach it here. We’ll take care of the rest.
Thank you
October 5, 2015 at 2:10 pm #55776Would it be possible to have the POT file so that we can update our translation files.
I just finished Spanish translation and realized that you added more strings.
I did update from the source but I believe is better to do it from the POTI’ve tried to work on Transifex but I’m just so used to work with Poedit that switching to another solution is just too hard.
Also I did upload the file to transifex hope I didn’t broke anything
Please let me know (I put a lot of work on making a good localization I would like that others can profit it)
Best!
October 5, 2015 at 2:53 pm #55783Hi and thanks for doing this.
You have the latest PO file always updated in geodirectory/geodirectory-languages.
We are also working on creating our own “transifex” to allow to share also add-ons translations.
Don’t worry about sending file to transifex, we can moderate them.
Let us know if this helps,
thx
October 9, 2015 at 10:10 am #56300Hi Paolo
I manage to update with the po downloaded from transifex, number of strings are the same now so I thinks everything is fine.
I will translate the new one and also will ask for a new translation Spanish (Basque) I’m translating the front end of the plugin into Basque so I think you may be interested (nearly 1000 words).Best and thanks

the best way to know if they are correct is to upload them on your server and test:

There is something missing in the PO fileWhen you finally create a Listing you get this message:
THANK YOU, YOUR INFORMATION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY RECEIVED.
VIEW YOUR SUBMITTED INFORMATION »
THANK YOU FOR VISITING US AT WEBSITE NAME EXAMPLE.
But you can’t find it in the PO file to translate it
I’m I missing something (or doing wrong)
Thanks!
October 20, 2015 at 10:54 am #57522Also, there is a string wrote in a non english language “Curaçao” I think this may be a mistake, I mark it as Fuzzy in Spanish, and found it in the original English PO
Just let me know 😉
Best
October 20, 2015 at 12:33 pm #57529@Bkbai,
For the success message i have added this to the transaltions so should be abel to be translated from next version, as of now you just edit the option in notifications.
for the “Curaçao” don’t worry about this, it’s just a place name we added.
I’ll ask Paolo to do some checks on the translation and deal with any rewards.
Thanks,
Stiofan
