Translating country (multiple language) and town name

Hi,

1. I see there’s a way to translate countries, so I followed this:

In my geodirlocation-fr_FR.mo I have translated Switzerland to Suisse.
When I hit the update in GeoDirectory > MultiLocations > Translate Countries, nothing happens, it still says Switzerland.

Can I translate Switzerland to Suisse when WPML is in French and to Schweiz when it will be in German ?

2. Pushing it to the next level, Switzerland is weird enough to have a bilingual city. It’s called Biel in German and Bienne in French. How can I have people search for “Bienne” in locations when in French and for “Biel” when in English or German… and find the same listings (or corresponding WPML duplicates) ?
