Translation issue

    Hello, i am trying to change the text on the Add Listing page but it doesnt seem to be working for some reason. I am trying to change the text “Region” to “State” and the description bellow it. I ve found out that the language file i should change is the one of the locations manager plugin. So, i did the changes i wanted and uploaded the po and mo files under content/languages/geodir_location_manager/ but it didnt work.

    Can you please help me with that issue?

    P.S. I ve seen the video you have and i ve successfully changed the text on some other pages.

    Change it in the GD core language file too, or if you do not have a multilingual site you can change it at GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields > Address Field > Region label.

    Hello Guust, i was able to change Region to State by going to settings and updating the name there. My problem though is that i also want to translate the description under the field Region and it simply doesnt work. I ve found that the text appears on the location manager language file and i ve inserted the translation but its not working.

    P.S. I did translate Region both on the core language file and on the location manager language file, but it didnt work that way.

    Try uploading it to the correct folder:
    /wp-content/languages/geodirlocation/
    not
    /wp-content/languages/geodir_location_manager/
    see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

    or you can upload the files to
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/
    too
