    Hello,

please describe the problem you are having.

Most issues with loading a translation are resolved by following the guides here:

    CORRECTED:
Theme language files should be in the language folder for themes, in your case that would be the
    /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-es_EX.po .

    Thanks

Hi Guust, it didn’t work either. Giri had asked me to use the path wp-content/languages/supreme-directory/ which used back then.

Now, I wonder what location doesn’t get overwritten as a child theme.

Please refer to https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/translation-lost/ regarding what happened a few months ago.

    Thanks,
    Eduado

    Hello,

Try removing translations from other locations. It is the way to do it.

You still have a /wp-content/languages/supreme-directory/es_ES.mo file.
    Try deleting that folder.

You still have a /wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/languages/es_ES.mo file.
    Try deleting that file.

The correct file is at /wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-es_ES.mo

    Thanks
