I’m limited in access to Iphones for testing. But ratings work on older 6s but don’t work on newer Iphone 11. On initial page load, when you click, you can see stars flash off to the side. If you refresh the page, nothing happens when you click. Here is a link to test on – https://exploreunioncounty.com/events/new-jersey/hillside/uncategorized-1/kids-paint-and-karaoke-event/?gde=2020-02-01

Also, it’s not just Safari, same behavior with chrome on Iphone 11.

    Hi Scott Jennings,

Thanks for your post. I’m able to replicate the issue on my mobile and could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that I could check your GD setup? In the meantime, please check and see if you have the latest version of the GD addons/Plugins and the theme.

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for your reply. It seems to work fine after disabling both cache plugins. Could you test it and see if it works for you?

Yes, it works now, but no caching is not a good solution. Is there something being cached that can be “whitelisted (not cached)” while still using caching for the site?

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for your reply. Could you check the configurations? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/performance/wp-super-cache/ .

When I first discovered the issue, I found a couple articles hinting at caching. I was using SG Optimizer as my primary plugin for optimizing the website. Following geodirectory guidelines, I deactivated SG Optimizer and set up WP Super Cache and Autoptimize following the recommended settings. When that didn’t work, it was only then that I contacted support. Unfortunately I have no way of debugging issues on IOS.

    Hi Scott Jennings,

Thanks for your reply. There could be other 3rd party plugin conflicting with GD then. Could you please go through this conflict test and see if it helps? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#conflict-test .

I currently have every plugin deactivated that doesn’t have the word “GeoDirectory” in it (Including ones recomended by you) and the rating stars still flash to the side and can’t be selected on new Iphones.

I’ve been able to determine the issue is with the “GeoDirectory Review Rating Manager Version 2.0.0.11”.

For the devs: the problem is with GeoDirectory Review Rating Manager. Has nothing to do with caching.

I checked it on browser stack and I havent notice the issue there with both the plugin.

I will assign it to other team member who can debug it on Iphone.

    Thanks for your patience.
