Unknown address error when importing csv. file

Hi Patrick,

FTP credentials are not working, it shows following error:

Response:	530 Login authentication failed
Error:	Critical error: Could not connect to server

WordPress does not allows duplicate category slugs, so it adds suffix -1, -2, -3… to the slug if already used by post, category or location.

You can update category slug with own suffix or prefix to prevent auto adding of -1, -2, -3…

There are two entries Ohio & OH for same region Ohio. Kindly correct this duplicate entries from Cities page via merge option.

Eventually you will need to merge those cities to remove OH.

Why? Because the Maps API is returning Ohio, not OH. (Screenshot)

In the meantime, try exporting your listings and changing all the listing regions from OH to Ohio, then re-importing.

The merge tool will merge cities, and remove the city that is not the target. If that is not working for you please describe what you tried to do an we will take a look.

Updating listings by import/export will not merge the locations, but it makes it possible to use the merge tool to merge 10 empty cities into one.

I cannot think of anything that will cause the uploading of new records besides an import.

You will need to remove the values in the ID column if you want to import new listings.

Otherwise make sure all the columns match.
