Hi, I’m have trouble getting my listings to update.
I have the option “Update listing if post with post_id already exists” selected and I am certain I am using the correct post ID, but a new record is created nonetheless.
I’ve reviewed the core export & import docs and I don’t seem to be able to identify the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you please post your URL, WP admin detail, and also details of a listing you try to update, in a private reply.
Then we can have a check for you.

    Thanks

I have updated a listing without any issue after turning off endurance cache.

Are you creating a new CSV file or exporting, then updating, and re-importing?
What is the post ID number of the new listing created? It must be a different number, which suggests you are doing it wrong.
Try adding 1 new test listing with a CSV file without adding a post_id.
Check the post_id [see image], and add to the same CSV.
Upload again with “Update listing if post with post_id already exists” selected.

    Thanks

Thanks. That works. I was trying to export into an Access database and then manipulate and filter data and then import updated info. Not sure how it is changing such that the info in Access is not able to be uploaded. I hope to have over 200k records eventually so exporting the whole database every time I want to make an update to a handful of records is going to be tedious. Any suggestions?

Updating a handful is probably easier just doing it in the WP Admin backend.
You do not need to export first, and you can use the same CSV file to add data and then import.
Any of the Microsoft products add invisible extra code that can break imports: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#important

    Thanks
