I appreciate any input as I have searched and tried numerous things in the last 30 hours, since i updated from v1 to v2. LOVING the new versions search functions and layout on the business pages btw.

I attached the image so you could see if this looks familiar to anyone?

    Thanks all

    Chris

That is your WP admin bar. You can add this code in your functions.php file or in a code snippet.

    show_admin_bar(false);

    Thanks

    Hi Chris,

Maybe something else is causing this not to work. Could you possibly share your WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it?

    Thanks!

You always have to clear your cache if you make any changes, please check now.
    See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cacheplugins

    Thanks

I apologize man, I clicked the clear and delete cache at least 40x no joke lol. I have deactivated the fastest cache as i kept getting the black wp bar on mobile. I set up the recommended wp super cache as directed – got an error that time stamps dont match idk if its any biggie.

I also cleared the cached on my mobile several times…. im sorry i promise im not dumb i just don’t know if its fixed bc i keep seeing it after deleting all the cache and installing the new wp super cache… you still have access to my site if that helps.

Thank you guys so much for working with me and helping me, i really want this site to work and to help local business owners =)

Also, thank you for showing me that link with the cache plugins info and other info of plugins that clash with GD…that REALLY HELPS =) One of the many things i like about GD is all the doccumentation – very thorough. That was a big problem with another theme i used, thank you guys for being so efficient. If you would like a review anywhere on support and features, please send me the link. IF you would like a video review testimonial please let me know as I have been featured on lots of sales pages and I would do that for you guys since you are helping me so much to resolve this ugly black admin bar issue.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. Just tested it using a Safari browser and on mobile IOS Safari and I’m able to see the admin bar. I’ll forward this to a developer for further assistance.

    Thanks!

Please let me know if you need anything else from me….I am going to continue reviewing the GD documentation and make some basic navigation and home page setting changes.
