    Hello,

    I did some additional testing.

I think the main issue is at root caused by a conflict with the theme.

The tabs are each showing with the link #tab-content, each one the same, so, they all load the first tab.

I was able to get the therapy listings to show and the user can edit their listing and add images now.

The developers will take another look at the profile issue, which is still prohibiting the user from seeing their invoice.

Please include FTP so we can do some additional debugging.

    Hi,

Either your theme or plugin is causing the link with the hashtag at the end to just scroll and not redirect to the link. So you need to either remove the script which is causing this issue or you need to force redirect the link to the URL when clicked using Javascript.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hi Patrik

You have corrected the ability of the user to be able to see the listing but the customer now has no dashboard as such as this is now completely removed from the right hand side which is not good because if facilities are added later then will be no options to give these to the customers! Nothing works on the tabs on the main page.

However the options do appear on the Login (main website menu) but you can only view them all if you disable the Post to Post Plugin which you need installed for wpgeo !

SO with post to post enabled you can view the invoice from within the profile by selecting Login from the main menu bar and selecting from the dropdown of your account – Invoices. If you try to select your listing nothing is found.

If you disable Post to Post Plugin you can select Invoice AND your listing and both appear.

However in all cases the tabs on the user profile on the main page do not work and the dashboard on the right is not there.

I have deactivated all other plugins unconnected with wpgeo and tested them and it has made no difference whatsoever.

I would suggest that there is something wrong with userswp or post to post either on their own or working with x Pro theme.

Post to Post has been completely abandoned and has not been updated for several years so maybe this is the cause of the problem and needs checking by your devs?

When I first completed the website with wpgeo and x pro everything worked perfectly. The problems started when version G2 with userswp and post to posts was developed.

Could you please take a look at this as at the moment it looks very unprofessional from my customers point of view.

    Many thanks.

    Kind regards

The functionality of post2post is very simple, and we have audited the plugin and will probably take it over, but, for now it is so simple that it has not required any updates for quite some time.

We are working to make UsersWP compatible with every theme.

About your theme, is it the case that, if you change themes, you are able to click through the tabs? Because right now it appears that the theme is change the URL of each tab to make each one the same.

    Hi,

You can ask the X PRO support about how can we prevent link with hash tag to be redirected instead of the scroll on the same page or you can use a JS which can force redirect to the URL on click of link.

    Hi Alex

Unfortunately nothing works if you change theme. I mean you cannot login at all and none of your plugins work etc.

The fact is that it was working in G1, it was working when it was upgraded to G2, its not working now after all the updates and introducing userswp and post2post.

As I said before if you disable post2post then some of it works so its not the theme that is the problem.

UsersWP does not appear to be compatible with X Pro because previously everything worked. You do say that you are working to make it compatible but how long is that going to be.

At the moment I have a website that just does not work so where do I go from here?

I am happy to work with you to get it working.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

We have released an update for the UsersWP in which we have added a filter called ‘uwp_add_tab_content_hashtag’ which returns true so the #tab-content will be appended to link but you can modify it to return false and the hash tag will not be appended. You can also override the template called profile-tabs.php in your theme and remove the #tab-content which will make the link normal and will work in X-Theme as well.

Let me know if this helps you to resolve your issue.

    Regards,
    Patrik

    Hi Patrik

I have updated the userswp but it has not made any difference at all. I am not sure how to modify the file – so are you saying that if the update does not work then I should do both of these things?

“but you can modify it to return false and the hash tag will not be appended. You can also override the template called profile-tabs.php in your theme and remove the #tab-content which will make the link normal and will work in X-Theme as well.”

    Where do I find the profile-tabs.php ?

    Thanks.

    Kind regards
