    Hello,

I’m working to combine several CPT’s in to one and am having a few issues I need some help with.

I upload the listing CSV with a package_id of 24 (the default package of the new CPT). When I export the listing CSV it shows a package ID of 17. I can’t see any other CPT with a package id of 17…any ideas?

I’ve added categories to the new CPT and uploaded the listings CSV with several category id’s in post_category and a single category id in default_category. When I go to check the listing, no categories have been applied to it. When I export the listing CSV, only the default_category is still there.

Is there a trick to getting post_images to display after reimporting via CSV? I’m getting the logo and the first (feature) post_image displaying fine, but not multiple post_images.

I’ll zip and upload the CSV to see if there’s anything there can help overcome these problems.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

I forgot to mention. If I go and manually add multiple categories to a listing, these show up in the exported listing CSV.

Also the default (only) package isn’t active on a listing when I go to edit it. If I manually select it, save the listing and export the CSV, the package ID (#24) is showing correctly.

    Things I would check:
    is package 24 accurate/active?
    Are the categories excluded?
    Fields excluded? Fields active?

The CSV files appear to be formatted correctly.

For the post_images issue, you should add 3-5 images to a listing and export to see how it works (often it just helps to see it with your own data).

You can also see the format here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#images

I am not sure I totally get what you are doing, but, if you are moving listings to a new CPT, you will need to upload all the images via FTP to the folder that is named at the end of the import.

Please share WP Admin credentials if we need to check the settings.

    Thanks Alex.

I created an identical package and used this new package_id when re-uploading the CSV and it’s worked. Cheers 🙂

I got the multiple categories importing after changing two things (not sure if it was one or both):
While I was setting up that new package I changed the max categories from unlimited (0) to 10 (I can’t imagine using more than 10 categories) in a listing.
I right-aligned the multiple categories in their column in the CSV.

I got the post_images working by manually removing the identifier after the file name. The original format was

Once I removed the |####|| it worked. The new format being:

    https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Banner-Bathroom-Decor-tiles.jpg::https://mywebsite.com.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Gallery-1-bathroom-decor.jpg

    Thanks again 🙂
