URGENT: "The site is experiencing technical difficulties" caused by Geodirectory

    Hi,
    Today we found out that some pages (not related to GeoDirectory) on our site are causing an error with the message “The site is experiencing technical difficulties”. I used the WP Safe mode plugin to narrow it down and it comes down to deactivating the GeoDirectory plugin to get rid of the issue. If the plugin is deactivated, there’s no error and as soon as it is activated the error appears back.
    I’m not sure when the issue appeared, so there’s no point in starting to restore backups (plus we have new events added regularly).

    I now had to disable the directory from our live site, this is not good for us. Can you please take a look into this asap? I’m happy to provide all the login credentials.

    Sorry to hear about that.
    Please create a staging site and provide WP Admin and FTP so we can debug the issue. Please leave GD enabled and provide a link to where we can see the issue.

    Please update to 1.6.3.8 and latest addons and see if that fixes the issue and let us know.
