URL Structure & "I accept terms & Conditions" check box

    Hi there,

    TOPIC #1
    I would like to remove the url prefix from the listing url structure. Please see attachement “Screenshot 1”. I thought in order to do this I just have to remove the prefix from the GD Permalinks Menu – see attachement “screenshot 2”.

    Can you please tell me, what will happen if I remove that “saloane” prefix? Will this affect my links and make them 404?

    On the 28th of May the European Union GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation ) will start to take effect. This will bring serious impact to all the companies that work with user data – such as us, the GD clients registered in the EU.

    Is there any chance that you can provide a solution to integrate a check box with “I accept the Terms & Conditions” or “I have read and understand the Privacy Policy” in the register/sign up menus?

    Can you post those screenshots please?
    If you change your GD permalinks, best practice is to re-save your WP Settings > Permalinks too.
    Changing URL prefixes will of course change all URLs.
    But I am not sure, without the screenshots, what the “saloane” prefix is that you mention?

    Have a look at our UsersWP plugin, which has a check box with “I accept the Terms & Conditions” or “I have read and understand the Privacy Policy” on the register page.

    Sorry for the missing files, here they are attached here.

    I tried to use UsersWP but I encountered an unknown problem with my website, and I had to restore from a previous backup and I kinda’ lost a few data. Don’t want to happen this again; now I am using BuddyPRess and I am quite ok with it. Please provide another solution.

    we do not provide a solution for terms and conditions on user registration, only on add listing.

    Regarding the prefix, that cannot be removed from the URLs, but you can remove the category slug from the URL.

    About the UsersWP plugin, if you have issues with that, log a ticket at https://userswp.io/support/
