Users editing reviews

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    From a user’s perspective, how can they edit their own reviews? This seems fairly important, because if they don’t decide to fix something then they should be able to change it. I don’t see the option anywhere.

    By this, I mean if a user posts a review, and after publishing it decides that they had a grammatical error and want to correct it.

    Before a user can submit a listing, they need to create an account.
    When they login with that account, they can edit their listing; a link will show “Edit this listing”.

    I think he is talking about a review. I think if a user makes an error in a review they need to correct it in a related review.

    @purpleedge, you mean that the user should submit a second review?

    Pretty sure that’s the way most website review systems work? You can’t even edit a posting here (in buddypress) after a couple of minutes.

    I guess the concept I had was that a person would submit a review, and if hypothetically their experience was sub par, they would be given the option later to change the review if their issue was worked out with the business owner. Almost like how the Play Store on Android works.

    At the moment reviews can be edited only in back end from admin.

    GeoTheme had few extra options to allow users to edit their own reviews so I guess it is a good request to make here and see how many think it is a must…
