How do you get the “featured” as seen in this image to appear on the image as a “sash”. I’d like to do the same as you have here with a “new” for new posts, but can’t figure out how you guys are doing this in v2. Thanks in advance!

    Hi jonahcoyote,

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option in GDv2 that allows you to achieve this. You’ll need to use a badge instead of a ribbon now https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/

Ahh…thanks, that explains it. I find it hard sometimes to tell the difference between v1 and v2 in the posts, blogs etc. I know you guys are working on that, but it’s just a hard thing to keep track of when you’re searching for answers in your doc.

BTW, maybe that’s something you’d consider adding back? Making the post_badge have an option as a sash. Reason is that it stands out more on the listing page and also takes up less real-estate.

    Thanks again.

The badge content can be moved anywhere with Custom CSS.

I added some example CSS example here:

If you need help with that you can contact a GD Expert here:
