No guide like that, no, but if you want to post your questions here as they come up we will be happy to point you in the right direction. The V2 codex is still forthcoming.

What’s the v2 replacement for geodir_show_featured_image and geodir_show_image and the like. They indicated the deprecated and I poked around and can’t find the replacement. Thanks

I will flag your topic for the developers

    The shortcode replacement is https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_post_images

    Hello,

Let us know where and for which purpose you have used those functions? In GeoDirectory v2 we are using shortcode to display post images(single/slider).

    Kiran,

Just trying to port my look and feel from v1 to v2. I have customized classifieds listings and that’s what we used to put the listing featured image forward. See attached pic…or check out:

    Hello,

Try following shortcode to display listing image.

    [gd_post_images type="image" slideshow="0" show_title="1" animation="slide" controlnav="0" link_to="post" image_size="thumbnail"]

Thanks, Kiran. This was helpful. I think I have it from here. We should close this out and if I have additional questions I can submit it under a more appropriate title/thread. The root cause of the shortcode issues on the conversion looks to be resources…that is, the job failed due to the amount of data we have and the resources to do the conversion. Thanks for all your help guys.

    Tim
