V2 Upgrade – GD Details page side bar Missing

    Good day folks … Finally found the time to update to v2 today . I am noticing on the details page that the right sidebar is gone. Its not in widgets and cant access it from the GD detail page in the backend. I have looked through the threads here trying to find a solution but to no avail … We had a lot of information on it including custom form answers . Am i missing something really easy here ? 🙂

    Hi,

    GDv2 uses the theme sidebar.

    You can set it using the wizard: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/setup-wizard/

    Or you can do it manually by addingthe GD > output widget in your theme main sidebar and set it to be used only for the GD details page.

    Thank you for getting back to me Paolo .. Unfortunately it still isn’t working for me as it did before. I have the GD Details in the Widgets area but it is not showing up on the individual details page. No sidebar at all . The site is cafanet.ca .. I have been using the software as a rep site for a number of years and it has worked well. Also have a number of your addons for it. Any more suggestions ?

    looks like the theme is declaring the sidebar in a weird way. The developers have been alerted and they’ll fix it for you asap.

    Good day .. I have another slight issue happening since the update .. On my places/category pages ( https://www.cafanet.ca/places/category/melfort-1/ ) the first listing is showing up in the page par … as you can see BADINSKI, Tyler: B. Acc., CAFA® is up top .. and on all pages its the first listing that shows here .. is there a way without nulling out the display of this to get it to not show ? The simple fix would be display none .. but then on the click through there is no name on the next page …

    Also .. any way to make the images container a tad taller .. the client is complaining that the tops of their heads are being cut off ( yah I know the client should have uploaded ALL of the pics in the same ratio 🙂 Just asking …
