    Hello,

I’m really struggling with updating my plugins now that I’ve install WP Easy Update. I’ve got a Multi-site so plugins are updated through the main admin.

I’ve network enabled WP Easy Update but the following happens:

    – Go to Network Admin plugin section and tap ‘update’ next to a GD plugin
    – I get an error “Update Failed: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> 504 Gateway Timeout Gateway Timeout The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.”
    – If I go to the relevant admin of the GD site and look in the plugin section it says my license is invalid. I re-enter the same license that is in the Auto Update section – license is activated.
-Return to the Network admin and refresh the page to see the plugin has been updated and I can try the next one.
    – Trying to update more than one at a time doesn’t work

That isn’t very easy!! Is this is a one time issue and from now on it will be easy?

    Hi cyril,

The login info does not seem to work.
If you already had licences installed on your main site it should have copied them over, if not you should enter the licences for each addon on the plugins screen, once you have done this you should be able to update as normal and even in bulk.

Is there a username? I assumed it was “admin” but that combination does not work.

One of the points of WP Easy Updates was to fix multisite update problems, but it will only take affect from the next batch of updates as the old vers still use the old system that has multisite problems.

You can either update via ftp or use this plugin for these updates: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Yes i see GD is not active on the main site, this is what causes problems with update on multisite, i suggest you update like i suggested above for now, then from the next release everything should work normally.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
