    Hi, I have changed the title to what I wanted with a translations – will that stand or will I have to do something else?

    Thanks

    Ok thanks – and now that I have finally gotten round to amending text with translations, I should be able to tweak the text as I like.

    In the meantime, could you confirm that my understanding of where customers can choose one-off or recurring payments (see above) is correct? Thanks

    Thanks Guust,

    Just to be clear, I can set up payment plans (price packages) to be either one-off or recurring – and so if I want to offer the choice of one-off or recurring payment listings the customer has to choose between two different price packages at the outset when adding a listing? – so am I right in thinking then that a customer cannot add listing details and then choose at checkout stage to make a one-off payment or sign-up for recurring payments?

    Because I have a range of payment plans I cannot duplicate the list to include one-off and recurring plans (the list would be too long!), so I will have to consider having recurring plans as default, with a manually administered (by me) opt-out possibility. I’ll have to think about the possible effect that this might have on payment uptake versus later loss with customers not bothering to renew one-off paid listings. I guess that the way payments and prices is set up it wouldn’t be possible to have the choice of one-off or recurring plans at checkout? Just a thought.

    Thanks Stiofan

    (I am a little conflicted: half Scottish, but Italian girlfriend – and waiting to cheer on England – I try to forget the Welsh quarter from grandmother! – Scotland looking good though)

    Hi Stiofan,

    yes it did affect me – i have fixed and updated – checkout back and my translations worked.

    However, still getting the text:
    Array ( [0] => 410 )

    when selecting Cafe category when adding an eatery listing as described above

    (sorry if this is distracting you from a cracking game of rugby!)

    the other thing, which might make a difference (?) is that I named the .po (and .mo) files en_GB not en_US when I saved to the wp-content/languages/geodir_payments folder (in my wordpress general settings language is set to English (UK) )

    I see that this has now been unset from ‘Resolved’, but am not sure anyone is looking at it?

    In case any other users find this thread with a similar need, I have found the free ITRO Popup Plugin to hold promise for providing a ‘Welcome’ site-overview pop-up.
