GDV1 only supports WP Super Cache and optionally Autoptimize. GDV2 should work with any cache.

There is a setting to check

GD – Settings – Design – Detail – Disable theme featured image output (Uncheck)

GDV2 allows you to create the Detail page template using shortcodes. so if you want to add more to that detail page header area you can do so.

Open the Detail page template and launch the shortcode builder to see the options

We recommend you change the subject line and body using thr settings, and use a branded email address.

First you could also try making sure you are using the right version of the plugin. Make sure you got the GDV1 version from your-account page here. Only if you are testing GDV2 should you be using the GDV2 version.

If you ahev the right version, try deactivating and deleting and then reinstalling.
