If you click the X it shoudl refresh the page as a new search without the term. You might have some custom CSS interfering with the anchor/link.
I cannot see the search results page, I get a 500 error. Is there some form of traffic blocker running? Can you disable it so we can check the page?
Send to a friend functionality was recently removed from GeoDirectory. There are many 3rd party plugins that can be used to achieve similar ‘social share’ functionality and while we don’t have a particular recommendation, here are many to choose from.
A price package must be assigned to allow price package options to take effect. That listing has no package assigned. Perhaps it was created before packages were configured. You might consider exporting your listings to see which other listings are missing a package assignment.

Try uploading a fresh copy of GDV2. I saw a similar issue earlier.
Also make sure addons are deactivated first.
This can happen when the addlistong page has the add listing shortcode. The page selected for Add Listing in GD permalinks should not have the add listing shortcode. Also make sure the page does not have a parent page. Check and let us know.
