You can create a free package with an unlimited time period, that is the workaround.
These are hands-off actions the site is taking when the listing expires, and they cannot require any interaction from the user when they go into effect.
We also have an option to allow renewal of free listings, “Renewal for free package?” in the Pricing Tab.

the APIs that are available through the Google Maps Platform do not behave the same as the Google Maps Application.
My test site also does not return that specific location without more characters.
I will ask the developers if they have any more advice about it.

the developers are considering adding a feature like that, but they haven’t started working on it yet and there isn’t a timeline.
I will flag your topic and if there is an update about that feature they will post here.
In the meantime those types of features may be possible with the WooCommerce cart but would likely require additional addons and probably some custom code of your own.
