Try these CSS solutions:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#search
If those don’t get you there, please share a link to the page and we will take a look if it can be done with CSS.
GD ReCaptcha can be used for many forms, yes
Hello,
you can use custom fields, that is a feature that is well integrated into the plugin, fields for districts or wards. How about that? Have you tried using categories to separate different types of officials?
GD does not have any features for overlays for areas, though.
In the Widget options you can enable “Filter by location”.
Try that and let us now how it goes.
Hello!
Go to
GD – Settings – Pages – Archive Item – Edit
That will open the page template for edit. Find the shortcode Guust mentioned and delete it.
Let us know how it goes
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
make sure you have enabled comments. Comments must be enabled on each individual listing, and then there is also a WP settings that will enable comments on new listings that are created.
WordPress – Settings – Discussion – Allow comments
If that isn’t the issue, then please make a private reply with your WP Admin credentials and we will be happy to check your settings.
You can find the .po file inside the /lamguages/ folder.
All of the strings in the file are displayed somewhere, and probably 90% are for the visitor.
I have flagged your topic for the developers, so they can let us know if there is something else to look out for based on what you mentioned. Thanks for letting us know!
As you say, there may still be a record of the CPT in the database.
You can use a plugin like BSR to find all the old occurrences of the cpt name and replace them with something else, then try adding your CPT again.

Hello
Please make sure that the addon version matches the version of GD you are using.
V1 addons are for GDV1 with a number like 1..
V2 addons are for GDV2 with a number like 2..The version cannot be mixed and matched
If that isnt it please make a private reply and include WP Admin and we will be happy to take a look.
October 16, 2018 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Custom Place information checkboxes not working after update #449942We would very much like to know if you have any ideas about what might have caused the issue or how to recreate it. This is an elusive issue, indeed.
Hello,
thanks for sharing the details there.
We are aware of this issue, and the developers have been notified. They will post back here with an update.
The Search for field will search all titles/descriptions/categories and tags. The default search is a near search, and the distance is set at GD – Settings – General – Search – Search near radius . This setting on your site seems fine, and we will find a solution and get this fixed up for you.
Hello,
in the past this type of issue has been due to a conflict with another plugin, where the ther plugin is inserting additional content into the search query string.
You can try a conflict test, to disable non-GD plugins to see if one of them is causing the issue.
We have a list of known issue with several possible culprits, just search for “search” on this age: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/troubleshooting-guide/#conflict
If you would like we would be happy to take a look. You can just post your WP Admin in a private reply so we can see your settings. For troubleshooting the issue, we will also probably need FTP.
