The proper names come from the remote API. It sounds like you are using Open Street Map.
What you did, to merge listings into “West Midlands” is one way to go about it.
Otherwise you would need to switch to Google Maps API.
Shortcodes for V2 have changed, but they are very similar.
Inside your WP Page in V2, look for the shortcode builder.
Use that to create exactly what you want on your page.

Hello Ann,
That button has been removed to prohibit front end users from accessing the media library.
To give users access to the media library, they would need to be editors and allowed access to the backend editor.
It shows the recent activity of users on their profile in a tab called ‘Activity’.
Are there other features you are looking for?
Yes, you can make a store locator, certainly, by adding listings and then showing all the listings, all the stores.
Glad it is working for you 🙂
The CPT template would need to be edited.

Try this to see if it clears things up:

I think that is an excellent idea, and would only be possible with Google;s static Maps API.
At this time we don’t have a feature for that so it would be a customization. If you need hands on help to implement that, you could contact a developer GD Expert here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com/
Hello,
our Whoop theme features a static map image on the listing detail page. You can check it out here: https://wpgeo.directory/whoop/places/united-states/pennsylvania/philadelphia/restaurants/buddakan/
Currently GeoDirectory allows for default images for all listings, for category, and for place type, but does not have a feature for a static map, so that would be a customization.
Hello,
if it was a plugin change, you can rename the plugin folder via FTP. That should allow you to login.
The developers have previously stated a response here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/cpt-linking-2/#post-444893
Tabs UI is at
GeoDirectory – CPT (Places) – Settings – Tabs
You can drag and drop items. For example, you could click Video on the left. That will place the video into it’s own tab on the right. Then drag the video item on the right so it is ‘under’ another tab.
Excellent 🙂
Basic Bulk edit, which is the same or similar to quick edit, is now available again with GDV2.
I will flag your question for the developers who will provide an update if one is available.
