Hello,
You can adjust the image sizes for your site:
From https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#home-layout:
Resize image large size:
GD scales any images uploaded to a listing, to a maximum size of 800 x 800 pixels.
Checking the box here will change that scaling to a a maximum size of 1024 x 1024 pixels. For the “New” banner, that can probably be with CSS. Please share the URL and so we can take a look.
You could try using events, with the Event addon. Events can then be linked to a listing.
This reply has been marked as private. In some cases locations will be displayed because they had an event in that location in the past.
We are working on additional changes for V2. For now if you want to remove a location you can delete it with the settings at:
GeoDirectory – Manage Locations
However, the location is listed because at one time it did have a listing associated with it, even if temporarily, so, be careful not to delete locations that will then ‘orphan’ listings, leaving them with no location.
Hello,
I think I understand what you mean. You are saying that you don’t need the detail pages.
Detail pages are always created, but, with some customization it would be possible to change the listing page output to not have links.
We don’t perform customizations here in the forum, but you can find a GD Expert here to help with that: http://geodirectoryexperts.com
Hello,
If you do not want the map on the sidebar then the Supreme theme may not be a good fit for your site.
You can use any theme besides Supreme to have control of the left and right sidebar on the listings page.
Supreme child theme is designed specifically to have the entire right sidebar on the listing page dedicated to a map, with no left sidebar.
The right sidebar map on listing pages is automatically hidden for CPTs that are marked to have no physical location.
However, it is not possible without a customization to include additional items in the widget area outside of that case.
You can use the following CSS and adapt it to meet your needs: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/removing-map-on-listings-page-in-supreme-theme/#post-409598
For more changes to the right sidebar you will need to hire a developer. You can find GD Experts on this site: https://geodirectoryexperts.com/
You’re welcome 🙂

I do not know how they got their data, but, anyone is allowed to create a listing.
You can allow your site visitors to create listings on your website, too.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
what sort of API key should I take from google to hace pictures?
I do not know about ‘pictures’, what do you mean about that?
October 2, 2018 at 3:52 pm in reply to: No Records Found Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criter #448504GD does not come with listing data.
GD provides forms that you can fill in to show listings on your site.
Whoop is a theme that looks similar to Yelp.
Listings can also be imported, but you will need to acquire the data yourself.
Have you already tried the “Send Enquiry” feature?
You can use the translate method to change the test to “Invite to Quote”

Hi!
Please share a URL where we can see the issue.
Have you already checked: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-field-examples/#logo
Hello,
sometimes a zip code is used in more than one country.
If your directory is in a single country, you can try adding your country (as listed in the Location Manager) to the setting at:
GeoDirectory – General – Search – Add location specific text to (Near) search for Google
If your directory is in the US, for example, you would add “United States”. Then when the query is sent to the map provider you have chosen it is sent as “22482, United States”.
If that doesn’t work for you, please share a search URL and WP Admin so we can check the settings.
That isn’t built in to GD, but could be accomplished in several ways.
If you want to hide it only on the GD Home page, you could use custom CSS, so the map still shows up on other pages. See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
A step further would be to use widget logic to hide the widget only when it shows on the gd home page and not other location pages. See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#logic
If you want to remove the map from all location pages, then simply remove the widget from the GD Home widget areas.
