I was able to login and verify that the theme options do save. I did need to refresh the page once. Pease try clearing your browser cache with a hard reload. To do that, open the site in chrome and click ctrl-i, then right click on the refresh icon and select hard reload.
I will address the items you mentioned here:
1. Whitespace – Please send a screenshot of that and we can see about it. We can help you with an example of how to do this with custom CSS. If you want to make a lot of custom changes you should hire a web designer to help you. You can find one here: http://geodirectoryexperts.com
2. Background – There are settings in the theme for this, on the Body styles page there is a background setting.
3. Menu location – The demo here shows the “Main menu” location at the top here. Is that what you are looking for? https://wpgeo.directory/gdf-modern/
4. Popular Post View widget descriptions – This CSS will hide that text:
#popular_post_view-2 .geodir-entry-content { display: none !important; }Custom CSS can be added at:
GeoDirectory – Design – Scripts – Custom CSS
For more information about creating custom CSS see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
I deactivated GD Booster. I recommend you leave that off until you have finished with CSS changes to the site.
Make sure to update your custom tab order snippet. You could try disabling that snippet first.
If you need hands on help with these customizations you can hire a GD Expert here:
Hello,
I took another look. It seems like there is a delay in the count, the developers will let us know more.
Thanks
Hello,
try disabling the second option there, the part about “Enable fontawesome”.
What that option is, it will force GD to use font icons instead of images.
That is why your image is not being used.

Hello,
If you cannot see the map, that is because you need an API key.
Try switching to OpenStreetMaps in the settings at
GeoDirectory – Design – Maps
Then if you still want to use google api, follow Google’s instructions to setup billing on your account.
If you still have trouble, please send your site URL so we can take a look.
Great 🙂
What field/s or functionality are you trying to include?
GDV2 makes integrations like that much each easier. Have you tried it?
Hello,
Maybe this will work for you. Try the setting at
GeoDirectory – Design – Detail – Exclude selected tabs from detail page
Enter “Reviews” there
See if that will meet your needs.
Also, we have a couple of Avia/Enfold fixes on file. Take a look at these additional solutions:
Please try this code snippet fix for Avia/Enfold: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-description-not-visible-after-saving/page/2/#post-420413
And a second one for the map conflict: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/unable-to-make-changes-to-records-places-even-as-admin/#post-436922
