Hello,
I tried and was able to edit a listing and save the changes.
Could you share credentials for a user where we could see the issue, or additional details so we can recreate the problem?
What are you worried about, specifically, with regard to duplicate content?
You could avoid linking to the second page?
Or perhaps exclude it from yoast with a filter?
https://kb.yoast.com/kb/sitemap-shows-excluded-posts-pages/Excellent! Hope your translation goes well 🙂
You could post your URL here and let the members give you some feedback.
What have you tried to entice potential advertisers?
July 3, 2018 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Where to show/insert the overall rating for each listing? #437077Hello,
the Overall ratings are averaged and displayed, but multiratings are not averaged. Averaging them and displaying the count would be a customization.
Please see this topic where this was discussed previously.

It is possible to hide that with CSS in most cases.
Can you share a URL to the page where you want it hidden so we can take a look at what you mean, exactly?
You can remove the geodir-gd-cache folder from the /cache/ folder o whichever temp cache folder you were using inside wp-content/
Great!
This is the error from the chrome console from your site:
Google Maps JavaScript API error: DeletedApiProjectMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#deleted-api-project-map-error
You must create a new API key

Hello,
Can you have a dropdown for the location.
There is the location switcher, but no dropdown that can be added to the search bar.

Title before content as the more relevant factor. Ice Creamery on wheels just has the word “on” in the title, whereas “Spring Potato Twisters” don’t have any of the words in the title, but the entire phrase in the content. Is this correct?
My website developer also tried searching for “chip stick” on the home page. The “Spring Potato Twisters” does not show up for this search results even though it has those words in the description, so it appears the search function does not take into account the description of the listing.
I will flag your questions about search for the developers.
Hello,
All of our menus are free flowing and I will be setting up fields that will appear as tabs for dinner menu, catering etc for each. I am currently using geodirectory for urbanbarguide.com and notice that searches only bring results for text in the primary profile field. It does not search the other fields. For example a search for “Junmai” should bring “Tapas and Wine Bar C” in LA. In the conversion for my menu site, I am going to want user to be able to search for a menu item and have a result for restaurants that carry that item. Is there something I can do to work around this ?
GeoDirectory “Search for” field searches in Title/Description/Category/Tags.
Advanced search options can be used to bring custom fields into the search bar.As far as the conversion, is it best to set up a development site as a sub domain ?
A subdomain is good, and covering the site up and keeping it out of google until you are sure about the url structure is a good idea.
Once site is finished and made live will permalinks take care of themselves ?
You can review the configuration options here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/#url – once a configuration is chosen, it is best to leave the settings alone.
I will be doing over 6,000 redirects. Is there a good plugin for this ? I will have the redirects in an excell file to import.
For redirects it is possible to put them directly into the .htaccess file.
Have you contacted your host? Can you share the server error log here?
We would be happy to look over that for you. In most cases 500 errors are server-related and the logs could shed some additional light on the issue.
Please be sure to have completed all the steps for configuration, and do check to see that your plugins are all up to date.

It looks like Nearby is not set.
There is the location filter will which show only listings in the same city, then the sort by distance.
When you have it setup we can take a look again.
