Hello,
there is a conflict with the Simple CSS plugin, or some of the custom CSS used with the plugin.
Disable the plugin to resolve the issue.

We have not yet seen one that is GDPR compliant but will let you know if we do.
Google Analytics won’t show up for both Admin or listing owner.
Select a google analytics account at Gedirectory – General – Google Analytics

You can test the plugin with OpenStreetMap, just select OpenStreetMap at the menu
Geodirectory – Design – Map – Map Provider
If you already have a Google Maps Platform API key, great, just paste it into the API key field, and save the settings.
If you need a new key, then you press the Generate API Key button and a new key will be created. Copy that key from the popup and paste into the field.
hello Vlad,
thanks for sharing that. We have a task to look again at v5. We did earlier and it was not ready, but we will check it again for V2.
Thanks for letting us know!
Excellent!
The user does not have access to WP Admin on the site where GD is installed.
Please check ad grant access. It appears to be a different network.
To override GD styles, store your css in
Geoirectory – Design – Scripts – Custom CSS
You should make use of “!important” if needed.

Share your CSS and page URL Here if more help is needed.
The snippet contains instructions, you can read them here:

It is a customization, but a needed one if you use a different plugin for login/registration but still want users to login and add listings. You may need to hire a developer if you need help with it.
Location manager also has widgets and shortcodes:

a. How do i change this background?Change the featured image of the page used for GD Home: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/
b. I planning to add Locations Menus in the center of the homepage banner. e.g When i click Texas it will show all listings under in Texas, and if i click on New York it will show all listings under in NY .. so on and so fort. What’s the best way to do this?
You can do that manually by adding custom links to those location pages, or you can use the location switcher. Visit GD > Design > Navigation to see options: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#gd
c. and under each ‘locations, where it shows the listings under that location’, i want to have a search filter in the sidebar. just like this http://prntscr.com/jpitnv
Is this doable? so it will search for the Main category and sub category. just to filter the search under that locationYou can add a GD Search widget to the Home Page sidebar.
d. Will this work well with Elementor? I want to customise my Homepage.
Elementor cannot be used on the GD Home page, but you can use a different page for your wordpress home page and use elementor there, along with a few select GD shortcode or widgets. The GD Home page is the home page of the directory.

Hello,
1. The Geodirectory Permalinks are missing the location page.
Please create a page called “location” and set it as the page linked to Location in the Geodirectory permalinks.
2. The WordPress permalinks settings need an adjustment.
Please change it to “Post Name” and save the settings.

3. Once those issues have been addressed, try visiting the page at: location/somerset/
Hello
It is true that we have some examples that use Beaver Builder, though this is because it is free, not because it is recommended.
Builders cannot be used on any of the GD Templates or pages within the page content area because GD content is inserted into those page content areas by the plugin, and that will overrides all content including builder content. In some cases, when builder content is inserted into the pages, there may be a conflict and so the solution is to remove the builder content.
Builders can be used on the site front page or any other WordPress page, though, and each builder usually has some form of “insert shortcode” functionality to allow you to use GD shortcodes on other pages and posts without interference.
With Elementor, there are no specific issues, but certainly Elementor, as with other builders, should not be used on GD pages.
