I will flag this for the developers to let us know about Yelp API features.
You can also check your price package for image limits.
May 16, 2018 at 1:14 pm in reply to: user name to be replace with name in profile display on detail page #430849GD’s Supreme will respect the author display name setting for the Users Profile (backend editor) setting for “Display name publicly as”
To change the display, change the setting for the user.
For the second, please send a URL and we will see if we can help.
I have checked this on a fresh install of v2.0.13 and cannot recreate it.
You mentioned ‘upgrade’; V2 betas should be ‘fresh’ installs.
In the test I was able to add images in the backend editor, and then view them in the frontend.
Did I miss a step for the test?
No, I cannot think of why that would happen.
1. The search bar in question is still pulling “Vendors” from somewhere – I’ve eliminated it from the sidebar fields but don’t know where this is set in settings.
If that is the CPT selector, then, remove all vendor listings and/or delete the CPT.
2. Is it possible to create a Category Drop Down menu option here in the search fields?
Yes, https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#cat
3. Is it possible to create a Multiple Town Drop Down menu option here in the search fields?
No, but the Location Switcher can be added as a shortcode or a menu element: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/
4. Button doesn’t inherit child/theme colors – will try to fix with css later today or tomorrow.
Please send a URL and a screenshot and a description of what you are looking for and we will try to help.
5. Business name search field is very white – can’t see that there’s a field there… Anyway to get this smaller with the search button below next to it.
In terms of CSS, what are you looking for? URL?
6. And then main issue from the start – how to ad a category display or drop down here?
In the sidebar, you would use a widget like Popular Categories. It does not have a dropdown though.
In the search bar: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#catExcellent!
Do take advantage of the sample sheet to check formatting and encoding.
The ‘native’ language of the site is usually reflected in the language choice of the Map API, which will then offer regions and cities in the ‘native’ language of the site.
So, translation into the native language is possible, but multilingual is not yet possible.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/translating-cities-and-regions/
That is a very good idea.
The snippet could check the listing claim status (on save) then add the appropriate tag.
Maybe adding cpt would be helpful, too, if you use multiple.tags might be something like:
claimed-place, unclaimed-event
We recommend using a solution from the host as opposed to a plugin.
We don’t recommend an backup plugin in particular.
Other members may have used that one, though, and can share their opinions here.
First step is to complete basic installation

To setup Multilocations see the overview:
Hello
Once you install WP Easy Updates you can add your keys to benefit from automatic notifications of available updates as well as one-click updates.
To set the default image there are two choices:
1. Set at Geodirectory – Design – Listing – Upload listing no image
2. Set at Place Categories – Category (edit) – Default listing imageMay 16, 2018 at 9:59 am in reply to: Don't know how to use "Make Friends" and "Message" features via Buddypress… #4308021. After Enabling the Text Editor in premium listing package, it won’t work.
GeoDirectory > Designs > Listing Tab > Add Listing Form Settings (section), Show description field as editor
2. We’re experiencing that Send Enquiry button not work some times.
Please install the email-log plugin from WordPress.org : https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/
If GD Emails are not created, we can help. Otherwise contact your host if emails are not delivered.
Be sure to edit the subject and body of all emails to improve deliverability.3. The main thing is we want to update our admin email in wwordpress setting, but after verifying the email, it won’t update. What to do Alex?
This can be changed at WordPress – Settings – General – Email
If it won’t update, contact your host or your developer to change it for you in the database.4. And please also suggest for anti malware or how could we protect our web frm hacking activities in future.
GD ReCaptcha is great, and you are using it. That is what we recommend and the only security related addon for which we provide support.
Great, glad you got it working.
A good first step for troubleshooting is to remove the custom CSS and disable snippets to see if that is the root cause.
There is not a setting to include the listing success page information in the invoice page without a customization, but the developers will let us know if there is an easy fix.
Otherwise, new feature requests may be submitted here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
